Shooter in East Las Vegas Identified

The shooter in east las vegas identified. The Labor Day shooting of a woman in east Las Vegas was found to be shot in the face. Spiller who was only 37 years old, a mother of several children and pregnant at the time, died as a result of the shooting.

Metro police have been quoted that they arrived at the scene on Boulder Highway (5600 block) and Tropicana at 12:02am. Due to numerous complaints of multiple gunshots being heard. When they arrived they found Spiller and another man with gun shot wounds. The man was transported to Sunrise where he was treated for the non life threatening wounds. But unfortunately Spiller died at the scene.  8745031_G

It started with an argument in the complex of Sportman’s Royal Manor, where Spiller and another female where approached by two men. Gunshots where fired at the two woman and the gentleman. The other woman was able to escape without any harm.

Neighbors have been quoted as saying that it is not safe at the Sportman’s Royal Manor, that burglaries, robberies, and other crimes are frequent in this area. They have also quoted that they hear sirens all the time, due to outsiders coming onto the property. One tenant even said “There is no way I would’ve raised my children here, I would have gone crazy trying to”
